Influenced by a lifetime of shuttling between New York and California, Taylor’s design aesthetic is heavily influenced by the promise of California and his Manhattan birthplace. After 15 years of custom furniture, upholstery and lighting design for private clients, Jonathan Taylor will offer a curated selection of his most timeless pieces from key categories: Case Goods, seating, lighting + upholstery. Taylor’s new offering embodies basic principles of Swedish design: accessible good design, beauty despite functionality, minimalism and use of natural materials. The new collection will be offered under the name of Taylor’s Swedish ancestry: Ståhlberg.
